Hangzhou Yuhang District Sino-French Aviation University is a cooperative project between Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and The National Civil Aviation University of France.

The project is a national competition, with the goal of creating an international area combining aviation’s production and research, demonstration areas and living areas.

The master plan is structured with an external green area, with several Urban Island for the living quarters. This area circles a central academic field area, containing all the buildings connected to the academic life and industry production.

The project wants to maximize the restoration of the ecological landscape of the site, with multi-layered walking system to shape a walking friendly campus network.
