To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the letter of intent on sustainable urban development between France and China, AND Studio was invited to take part in discussions on this key area of Franco-Chinese bilateral cooperation.

During the “Green Building and Resilient Cities” session, Ning Wang shared his experience on the theme of “From planning to architecture, a complex and organic system”: a coordinated and integrated approach to architecture and urban planning is needed at all levels to reduce the carbon footprint of our cities. This cannot be achieved without respect for local culture and sites.

We were delighted to take part in this important meeting for the sustainable urban development of both countries, along with other architecture agencies that are members of AFEX and committed to the issues at stake.
