The site is in the Xintiandi Neighborhood, one of the most central of the City, just above a metro station. Instead of dividing the program in two parts, the main concept is to mix the program of Art Exhibition and Retail. The two can be opened or closed to each other and the space can be remodeled following new exhibitions or commerce.
The architectural interpretation is to create a floating element, white, pure, sustain by transparent gallery, letting the vision going to the behind garden and without creating a vision block.
