Hostaria Urbana is a new Parisian gathering space, a restaurant inspired by the Italian culture of trattorias.
Trattoria is generally a simple space, warm and welcoming, most of the time, family-owned. With our design, we aimed to recreate the sensation of this friendly, authentic Italian atmosphere with some added contemporary touch.
We opted for the use of natural materials like wood and artisan moss-green metro handmade wall tiles. Each corner of the restaurant has been created to give a particular ambiance, using greenery accents to provide a sense of continuity. Together with warm lighting, numerous plants create a space with a real personality where guests feel welcomed and relaxed.
